Jamie Orr impresses with his builds

Delinte and Landsail brand ambassador Jamie Orr of Pottstown, PA travels the world as a professional car builder, driver, parts hunter, logistics manager, and journalist. He first became a Sentury brand ambassador in 2023 and has since represented the family of brands with a range of ingenious builds.

Jamie’s most recent Sentury build was the 2023 VW ID. Buzz Cargo Van, recreated from Volkswagen's brand new all-electric cargo van. The build was a collaboration between Sentury Tires, Germany’s Auto Ōstringer, and of course, Jamie, who's a renowned Volkswagen enthusiast. It features Landsail Tires and aftermarket support from partners Rotiform, Thule and H&R. The build was imported for Sentury’s SEMA booth and showcased at the SEMA show in 2023.

“Sentury envisioned it as a perfectly-sized performance tire delivery van, featuring the RapidDragon racing tire, which Landsail fitted at the front in a 235/45R21 and 265/40R21 in the rear, for a staggered set up,” said Jamie.

1998 Volkswagen LT build

Jamie’s love for Volkswagen is also evidenced on his 1998 Volkswagen LT, which features Delinte's Bandit A/T DX10 All-Terrain tires. The Bandit A/T DX10 has extended tread wear, an aggressive tread pattern, and a rugged look. It is also 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake Rated and is Trail & OHV Ready to give you confidence driving your truck or SUV on the road or in the snow.

Jamie’s enthusiasm for Sentury products preceded his official sponsorship in 2023; he has worked as a friend of Delinte since 2002 and had involvement in various builds and car shows, including the VW Atlas Cross Sport Development Build, The 2018 VW Citi Golf Challenge in South Africa, the 2019 Rallywagen Adventure, USA to Worthersee, and the Dub Drive event in Dubai.

“My true passion is for car things that are a little bit different. Foreign market, rare, hard to find, they usually have something that makes them unique and special. I love the thrill of the hunt, and then also the logistical work that comes after the find. I’m lucky to have built a passion based on some of the world’s most international car brands, which has taken me all over the world, looking for both physical objects, and the people and stories behind them,” Jamie said. “If I had to explain my job in one sentence, it might be: ‘Traveling the world looking for cars, parts, and adventures’”.

Sentury is proud to have Jamie on board and impressed by the creative ways he showcases Landsail and Delinte’s wide array of products.
